It is reported that, presently, the policy of developing 3 major tourism markets in China has been changed from %26ldquo;Vigorously developing inbound tourism; actively developing domestic tourism and norm-developing outbound tourism%26rdquo; to %26ldquo;developing domestic tourism in an all-around way; actively developing inbound tourism and progressing outbound tourism step by step%26rdquo;.
In order to improve marketing and assure customer retention, the Tourism Administration of Ningxia Autonomous Region has signed promotion agreements with CCTV1, CCTV2, CCTV3, CCTV4 and CCTV10 respectively. This move ensured market coverage across the country and in major overseas markets. As trying to stabilize neighboring markets, the Tourism Administration pinpointed Beijing, Xi%26rsquo;an, Hangzhou, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou and Chongqing as the main source markets of our tourism businesses. In addition, the Tourism Administration has decided to invite guests from regions mentioned above to survey and explore in Ningxia in March this year. Furthermore, the Tourism Administration decided to hold a tourism trade fair to promote our tourism products and support several large-scale agencies to set up branches or offices in source markets so as to consolidate and develop markets. Through a set of introductions and promotions, under the organization and arrangement of the tourism authorities, Ningxia will integrate all market resources to strengthen and expand the tourism business in our autonomous region.
