| Airbus will expand its overall cooperation with China. |
Tom Enders, Airbus Chief Executive Officer, said cooperation with China is promising which will see more production of plane parts and wings. Airbus started cooperation with China since 1985. So far, six Chinese firms are providing parts to Airbus.
Airbus has also joined hands to build an assembly line in Tianjin, which came into operation in September last year. In 2007, Airbus purchases in China hit 70 million dollars with the figure in 2010 expected to reach 200 million.
